I don't know if I want to call it good SEO practice for local SEO companies offering their services and promoting it by hiring a link building team to make spammy comments or to the least build backlinks using link builders that do not know the value of the comment itself leaving unnatural generic words behind their company's name. For me it's not a good practice. This might add more damage than of use in the long run.

People behind this company (might just be) have been boggling my SEO blog for quite some time now trying to get relevant links from my blog via spammy and robot-sounding generic comments of praise. I'm not sure if the people behind the comments are actually from the company itself but I were the owner I'd go check what my link builders are doing. It's really easy to find out if they are doing it by searching for their links, Where they come from, there must be more useless comments hanging under their company's name.

Honestly, if you offer services related to SEO, you don't send just someone without the right knowlege to make comments and get links for your company website without checking or at least giving a guide on how to do it for you.

Remember that possible clients will always go check your company profile and if in case they see what you do to get links to your website, they might just see the type of blog commenting your link building team is doing and might decide not to take your services instead. In the long run, you are actually building a profile where you are trying to dig your own company's death in the industry of SEO.

I have done the same mistake before and I must admit back then, I am not yet knowlegeable at how to make a good link without repeating your comment on and on and on. I made the mistake that I cannot take back so I just wish you guys who want to leave a comment to my blog, be careful. Make a good comment, a relevant one as much as possible and not just some fake praises. Believe me, it's not worth it. I hope the owner of this local SEO company wakes up and try to teach their link builders to do things right. There is no turning back once a comment is posted under a company's name so make sure it is your best.

Internet In the Philippines and Online Business

I have been on the constant watch about the latest development of the internet here in the Philippines where reside and work as a freelance SEO and link builder. I also own a few online business but what strikes me the last few months of this year.

I was on the constant watch on my Google Analytics account with many of the sites as well as client sites that I work on and I must admit that there have been so many big changes that happened with respect to the Philippine internet. Users have grown so significantly that you will surely notice that if you have a local site, that the local visitors have greatly increased with local keywords.

I would like to anticipate on this and start of with a few smaller experiments of my own with different niches that I am looking to enter in the future. This is to come up with a business model that will do the trick for me and my websites as well as clients in the local online market. With this growth, Philippines SEO will surely be a bigger venue for many local businesses as well.

SEO Philippines Forum Will Soon Transfer to a New Backyard

It is officially confirmed that SEO Philippines Forum is transferring to a new backyard. The announcement was made by the SEOPh founder himself, Marc Macalua in one of the threads within the SEO Link building categories in a sticky post.

According to the founder of SEOPh, there will be other guys who have the caliber to help him manage the new arena for SEOs in the Philippines to thrive on. I wonder how the process is going to be and I am not even sure if there is anything going on like if the said domain is for sale at$000,000000 or not.

Earlier, there were rumors that the official website of SEOPh was for sale but the founder did confirm in another thread slapping the rumor with, SEOPh domain is not for sale. Well, people believed him but for me, I cannot see any reason why the said forum has to be transferred to a new one except for a fact that according to the founder, the aim is to make a better forum for SEOs here in the Philippines.

I am not really sure about that reason or if it is enough for all the members to accept but if indeed there is any other doubt, no one is sure about it or about what's going to happen soon. I just hope this move is for the better of all or at least of the majority.

In the Philippines, I observed that as the SEO industry meets its age old system, so does the software industry. This is because I have personally seen the growth of SEO people by the numbers because of the continued development of knowledge concerning SEOs in the Philippines.

SEOs are Increasing in Visayan Regions

The recently concluded Arlo Gilbert blogging c****** is already finished and from my own observation, a new SEO from Capiz to enter the arena has emerged the champ with outstanding 2 entries to it finding the top spot. This is an indication that there are more and more webmasters out there in the Visayas who are not yet discovered from the center of the SEO business which is in Metro Manila. Capiz may be a small place but today it became a big place because of this event.

The emerged champ is Duane Cartujano from Capiz. Duane is a good friend of mine and I am glad that he is developing some good social relationships with other SEOs in the Philippines with his trial. There are a few buzz about the "C" but it seem legit enough to declare him the big champ because otherwise, he wouldn't have had 2 entries on top over the veterans and expected rankers at the end of the last minute. Those who have tried to topple the 2 entries by the SEO from Capiz failed because of the simple reason that he (Duane Cartujano) planned it to be that way.

Congratulations and a job well done!!! Duane for coming up a better SEO this year. I hope this continues as we enter the new era of internet marketing boom in the Philippines.

When We Won't Need Link Building Anymore

Do we really have to wait until we won't need to do link building anymore before we realize that we are in the wrong direction. Well, pardon me but this is the reasonable blog and I intend to make it linkless in some of my posts (not all).

The reason is I want to use it just for my advantage and that is what it should always be in the first place. I am not jumpy nor greedy with my links knowing that this same blog can be found in the top of the search engine.

I am not even the best in the land and in fact I have spammed a lot in my early days and sometimes until now. I guess that's because I fail to understand the context of spamming and being a spammer. Each and everyone of us have our own definition of the word so there really is nothing to be afraid of if we commit spamming in our way to the top of the search engines.

We just have to apologize for people whom we have committed it with because that's the basic attitude of someone who had sinned. Spamming is a sin and so if we commit one, we should also ask for forgiveness. But remember that it is different if we commit spamming and commit it again as if we do not learn at all.

There has to be some learning process in all this so when we learn we speak of better us and let ourselves become better. Since link building has always been a twin of spamming, we sometimes get in the way of the standards of others so take care of what we you do all the time.

DON'T WORRY, THERE WILL COME A TIME WHEN WE WON'T NEED LINK BUILDING ANYMORE. :D

Google AdSense Sharing Gets Activated at SEOPh Forum

Marc Macalua, the founder of SEO Philippines has initiated and actually started a new service for SEOPh Forum members - The Google AdSense Sharing Scheme from the Google AdSense Sharing Program.

I received an automated e-mail today telling me to update my profile at SEOPh forum and change a few stuff in it. With the e-mail came a complete guide on how to enable your Google AdSense Sharing with SEOPh. It was a 30% : 10% share for the thread starters and the thread last posters.This means that if you are a thread starter, you can have a 30% chance that your Ad will be displayed and then if you are the last poster on the thread, you get a 10 %chance that your Ad will be displayed while the forum moderators will have a 20 % chance that their Ads will be displayed in the forum.

These are just some points to consider when you want to know how much of SEO to use when you are optimizing a webpage or a website. There are a few mixed and unsure guides that you can follow in order to tell that you are in the right track.

I must admit that the best tactic in optimizing a webpage is to let it be. Sometimes being a little too aggressive can lead to penalties by search engines and this is because we don't give space for them to breathe.

I do not hate social bookmarking sites, I just don't prefer them being labeled as one of the tactics to use in gaining page importance or ranking in the SERPs or in any other way related to SEO or SEM. I see them as a simple way of getting your website introduced to the searching public by way of natural organic characteristics of these social bookmarking sites to rank with a term or keyword.

Technically, I would not give nor suggest the use of it in terms of gaining rankings with the use of SEO for a webpage.

Since I do not personally know when and where SEO Philippines really started, let me just give a few backgrounds about the subject matter.
