I recently downloaded the Firefox 4 beta version but it failed my expectations. I didn't know where or what went wrong but for one thing, my experience with Firefox has never been so disappointing after the download. It destroyed one of my PCs for loading so slow and eventually, me trying to execute more commands trying to see what is wrong with the slow loading of pages.

Well, anyway, I still feel good that I was able to find out a way how to to revert my PC to the old version of 3.6. It even helped me get back to my work later on. Local SEO outsourcing companies and ruining company profile

I don't know if I want to call it good SEO practice for local SEO companies offering their services and promoting it by hiring a link building team to make spammy comments or to the least build backlinks using link builders that do not know the value of the comment itself leaving unnatural generic words behind their company's name. For me it's not a good practice. This might add more damage than of use in the long run.

Take for example this SEO services company url - http://www.myoptimind.com/seo-services.html. People behind this company (might just be) have been boggling my SEO blog for quite some time now trying to get relevant links from my blog via spammy and robot-sounding generic comments of praise. I'm not sure if the people behind the comments are actually from the company itself but I were the owner I'd go check what my link builders are doing. It's really easy to find out if they are doing it by searching for their links, Where they come from, there must be more useless comments hanging under their company's name.

Honestly, if you offer services related to SEO, you don't send just someone without the right knowlege to make comments and get links for your company website without checking or at least giving a guide on how to do it for you.

Remember that possible clients will always go check your company profile and if in case they see what you do to get links to your website, they might just see the type of blog commenting your link building team is doing and might decide not to take your services instead. In the long run, you are actually building a profile where you are trying to dig your own company's death in the industry of SEO.

I have done the same mistake before and I must admit back then, I am not yet knowlegeable at how to make a good link without repeating your comment on and on and on. I made the mistake that I cannot take back so I just wish you guys who want to leave a comment to my blog, be careful. Make a good comment, a relevant one as much as possible and not just some fake praises. Believe me, it's not worth it. Firefox 4 Download: What happened to my addons?

Yesterday was a great day for me as Firefox has finally asked me once again if I wanted to download Firefox 4 which according to the people behind would be at least 6 times faster? Well I am not questioning the speed today after using the medium / browser since last night. What happened was a big mistake it seems as although I found out later on that I can still control my plugins and addons in the addon manager, I was not able to use the informenter addon for quite a while since yesterday.

The big deal today is that we all know SEOs out there need that addon for SEO and link building purposes. Well at lest here in my case so I was not able to make links come to sites of my clients as well as to the sites that I own simply because I had Firefox 4 downloaded as my new browser. I gave my e-mail to Firefox and it was listed that I am the 18th dude to have his plugins/addons lost and useless.

I have never imagined I would indulge in using blogging applications and plug-ins on some blogs I write into. First it is simply because I am not sure how they work and second is that I do not have the time to play around with these usability applications. Third is simply because I do not know the possible effects that these applications could get my blogs in to.

Now that I know, I'd like to put special mention of one of the best Wordpress plug in that I believe has the best use for blogs and bloggers. That is none other than related posts plug in. I love the use of this special app as it leads the visitors to some of the best places where they can find good information without having to leave your blog at all.

Another is that because it minimizes the need to link within some other related posts we have and saves you time to go looking for them. The plug in automatically looks for he related posts and embeds them right below your post which is just the ideal place to find for your readers.

I have been on the constant watch about the latest development of the internet here in the Philippines where reside and work as a freelance SEO and link builder. I also own a few online business but what strikes me the last few months of this year.

I was on the constant watch on my Google Analytics account with many of the sites as well as client sites that I work on and I must admit that there have been so many big changes that happened with respect to the Philippine internet. It's been such a very long time since I haven't written in this blog of mine but so far, a lot of my time has been focused on trying to learn more about how Google pushes the websites in their results pages. A couple of months ago, I learned that Google Caffeine was introduced but Many local SEO in the Philippines would not go for it. For whatever reason, I don't know.

All I know is that because the new Google algorithm doesn't seem to favor their websites of business they own. 2009 NLE Results Released - Nursing Board Exam News PRC

The 2009 nurse exam results or popularly know as the nursing board exam (NLE) has been released the other day by the (PRC) Professional Regulation Commission. The results were not as impressive as it should be based on the turnout of percentage of the nurses who passed the said board exam.

I Never Imagined Twitter Could Be A Road Full of Traffic

I've seen today a Twitter account from a friend that got snapped out. It was a PR 4 profile page and I bet that it took time to earn that trust from the search engines only to get the account snapped in the wink of an eye. I wonder what happened back there?

I never thought that Twitter could ban accounts just like that knowing that there are so many spammers out there trying to explore what they could out of the advantages that this social bookmarking site does.

First, it never came to me that there is indeed quality traffic that could come from this site so even if I have a very old account there, I never had the interest to follow on accounts and allow others to follow me.

I've always wanted to have a secret life using social bookmarking sites and Twitter is one of them. In fact, I really have used it just for a few tries. It was something like 5 or less than 10 tweets all in all and I never came back again to the site.

Not until I learned the plus factor that it could possibly bring to my fence. Now, I am still on a process of trying to see some different and posting one by one at a time and trying to make intervals to see what happens next.

I hope to find out more soon in a month or two and see if I could possibly post here my tweets. That is of course if I like it. Social media marketing is a great way to learn more about traffic generation. Twitter is not excempted.

I found out today that many blogspot blogs have been using bloggerized Wordpress Themes. I was surprised as I have never roamed around for so long to find out that there are so many theme addicts that already use these bloggerized themes which are originally WP themes.

It's a great move and a new amazing innovation although I am not so sure if others will agree. I just found out today also and I was surprised that some of our Wordpress themes although there are totally free to download were already available in bloggerized versions.

Well, I can't blame the person who bloggerized the Free Wordpress Themes we have because after all they are all for free to use and download. The good thing is that the one who took our templates still used the footer links that we used to have. Thanks for that.

How Does Google Read Blog Comments?

I have been playing around with some of the best ways to exploit what Google allows based only on my experience. This is because we all know that it would take all the best resources and SEOs to know which is truly acceptable by Google. This time, I am asking myself through a series of experiments how Google reads blog comments and can a blog owner really exploit these comments to his blog's advantage?

I actually came up with this question a long time ago and this time, I have the time to make an experiment, I will make sure that I learn something else other than what others fail to learn or at least observe how blog comments can be an effective way to gain further search engine importance for that page you are trying to manipulate.

I am sure that Google won't allow the blog author to use these comments to his advantage, this is the reason why Wordpress today have the "nofollow" attribute in their comments. But I am also sure that there are certain small ways we can take advantage of our own resources. In this case, I am after learning about blog comments and how I can make them useful to my own advantage in a SEO field or point of view.

I'm not so sure about this news (heven't seen it) as it is the first time that I heard about it. Wikipedia, the world's largest online encyclopedia is now turned into a 5,000-page book.

According to a resource that I just read today, the Wikipedia, a voluntarily written online book by all the registered users all over the world has been turned into perhaps the most numbered page book with 5,000 pages and sized at 1 foot and 7 inches thick.

Well, we all know how much torrent freaks have eaten with respect to the world' bandwidth. We also know that there is no way we can stop torrent from coming in to the next generation. Eriuqs Spires Healthy Recreation: My Link Building Arena

Soon it will be through, the challenge dubbed as Eriuqs Spires Healthy Recreation is just a couple of days away from ending and I am in a hurry to seek the top position with an entry to this race.

I haven't been able to do anything for more than 3 weeks for an entry but today will decided what else there is to do for me and what else the search engines could possibly like. In the future ordeals and jobs in link building that I will do, I hope to learn from this experience and I hope I may be able to apply what the result of this last move will be.

The reason to gaining top rankings once again in the ongoing Tnomeralc Web Design Toys seo challenge is having 5 indexed pages in Yahoo. This means that getting that many pages indexed in Yahoo knowing that it is only a single post inner page is equivalent to strength in the position that I currently hold.

This is a very rare occasion and I know now that what I did in the past few days even without doing anything for 2 days did pay off. I was in to link structure experiment all the time because I have never stopped trying to decipher whatever advantage I can get from the search engines using only free available tools I have. I'm glad it paid off for me.

They may be just basic tools and basic knowledge used along but for one thing, they are all effective in my quest for more knowledge under a strict implementation of link building techniques that I know. I alone is doing link structure optimization for this challenge. I know for a fact that I cannot fail if only I give more effort for an entry but what I found out was even more convincing and more compelling with cutting edge precision. Proves that you don't have to starve and stress yourself out just to attain high rankings in the SERPs.

Timing is everything with link building and SEO. Establishing a good linking structure on the other hand will give you the advantage over your competition. In this experiment, I learned that you do not have to stress yourself out trying to build thousands of links after all. All you need is the perfect timing strong interlinking of your pages. Although I haven't perfected my process and my link structure optimization using offpage sources, I am looking in to getting to know how the search engines work for a webpage using links.

This challenge has brought me into new horizons and it has taught me that there is a lot of resource out there left unexplored and used in the wrong process of chronology. Timing and perfect structure of links will be my key to maintain this ranking right now while working for more knowledge.

Google Crawlers - Is it Random or Scheduled?

No one knows the exact split second that a Google crawler visits a webpage or website. While for some, they have the clue using analytics data and metrics, still no one can conclude if that visit occurred exactly the time they though it did.

The same data tells of other analytics metrics and for this reason we couldn't have the exact analysis of out site details with respect to optimization of campaign results. All we will ever have are rough estimates or at least the closest possible data with which we can base all out outputs and the result of our inputs as well.

I am taking today for example, the fact that I am under an experiment on analysis of data as to what time or when exactly Google crawlers visit a webpage. What factors will trigger these visits for Google to be able to make their updates on their index.

The experiment that I am talking about is the soon to end Tnomeralc Web Designt Toys keyword. I have a lot of weird assumptions as to how Google sees the links pointing to a website for the simple fact that when I changed my Title tag of the home page of a blog, Google immediately sees it upon an update post.

But what happens today as I take a look at the results of the updated index, I saw my page ranking higher thant it used to knowing that I did not do anything to promote that page targeted to the keyword Tnomeralc Web Design Toys.

I saw that when I ranked #2 today from more than a week at # 4, that my title tag was the old one that I used in the home page. How come that Google allowed me to be on top # 2 slot without doing much on link building and all the while ranking that page higher 2 slots than its 1 week original position? Does that mean that Google somehow sees the links even if they are not part of the home page where it can be found.

Does this mean that Google allows constantly updated pages to help push a webpage further up even when the link is already deep? What now? Old title tag back as indexed but higher rankings could only mean one thing - old links do matter a lot in ranking a webpage higher in the results pages.

This for me also means that the more a page is updated with new content, the higher chances that the links to which that page can be found may harness the effects of a delayed upsurge of link therefore making Google see the old version of the webpage while ranking it a little bit higher than it used to.

IE 8 Launched and Hacked

Right after the initial launch of Internet Explorer 8, the fast update to MSN's browser, it was hacked. The buzz came out almost right after the incident happened. Even faster than the browser itself and faster than any search engine can crawl new content.

Anyway, I didn't actually see what happened or how the browser IE 8 looked like the moment it was hacked but for one, the buzz came out quicker than fire spreads. It made me remember when Google's Chrome was launched and then afterwards, some bug bugged the browser.

My question is, what's been happening with the security of our browsers these days?

MSN and Yahoo Search Weblog are in the Official List that Google Blog Reads

Yes, it's official as I visit Google Blog today that perhaps the most popular blog in the internet also visits and reads MSN Search Weblog. I saw it in their official list of blogs tagged as "what we're reading" in the Google Blog sidebar.

It's great to know that somehow, somewhere along the way that Google gets a non-biased read of the official MSN Search Weblog too and I know whatever they have there is not so bad, in fact, it helps Google patrons to get a glimpse of what is in there somehow with the use of traffic from their official blog.

Yahoo Search Blog is also in the sidebar list as well as I have all 3 great blogs in two of my blogs out there. I love reading all these 3 blogs once in a while because it helps me get a kick off the day and get inspired that something good is happening in the search engines all the time.

I do not know how long MSN and Yahoo blogs were in the official Google Blog sidebar but one thing I am sure of, this is a nice way of telling everyone that a share of the pie deserved by each is a necessity today.

This is not about SEO and this is not about blogs or blogging... It is a simple way of telling us that service is on the way to improve universal search.

MSN Partners with Multiply to Transfer MSN Groups

I received an e-mail regarding my MSN Groups but I didn't bother about it because I was expecting that MSN, just like their last e-mail to me prompted me to update my Remote DBA Groups, otherwise, it will be closed. Since the last e-mail did not mention any about it, I didn't bother take a look.

Today I was surprised when I visited my MSN Groups, it was gone and this message is all that's left - "As we first announced on October 23 2008, the MSN Groups service has closed.

If you would like to create a new group, we have established a partnership with Multiply - an online group and media sharing service that is tailored to the needs of larger groups. If you would like to create a small group of less than 1000 members, please visit Windows Live Groups."

Does this mean that Multiply will grow ever stronger with respect to its networks? I bet yes but on the other hand, with this move, MSN gave an alternative which it is not used to - Windows Live Groups. While Yahoo froze the salary increase for their employees to channel funds to improve their engine, MSN is little by little moving on its own to partner with some of the greatest and probably biggest social networks in the online arena. This is great for all of us.

Eli used the Wordpress Theme technique and it was effective. I have been on the move for 2 days now but I realized there is something more than just the WP theme use. It must've been because of the Kangaroo SEO.

I laughed on this specific SEO style and I must admit that maybe, just maybe, it still works for quite some time. All we can do is to watch out for the movement now. The links poured down was good but it could also shut you down with the wrong timing and wrong numbers.

It's been 5 days that I did no SEO nor link building for the official entry that this blog had in to a race. The main keyword involved is "Tnomeralc Web Design Toys" and while others had their heydey ranking on the first page, this blog is on the third.

Anyway, this is something new for me and I am testing some method of technical blogging to see through some new ways to battle Google penalty which has been all around for those who are exploiting in to artificial link building.

I believe that it is soon going to be a little bit harder to rank for the pages and keywords we are targeting but I also believe that I will soon come up with the answer to that. It is officially confirmed that SEO Philippines Forum is transferring to a new backyard. The announcement was made by the SEOPh founder himself, Marc Macalua in one of the threads within the SEO Link building categories in a sticky post.

According to the founder of SEOPh, there will be other guys who have the caliber to help him manage the new arena for SEOs in the Philippines to thrive on. I wonder how the process is going to be and I am not even sure if there is anything going on like if the said domain is for sale at$000,000000 or not.

Earlier, there were rumors that the official website of SEOPh was for sale but the founder did confirm in another thread slapping the rumor with, SEOPh domain is not for sale. Well, people believed him but for me, I cannot see any reason why the said forum has to be transferred to a new one except for a fact that according to the founder, the aim is to make a better forum for SEOs here in the Philippines.

I am not really sure about that reason or if it is enough for all the members to accept but if indeed there is any other doubt, no one is sure about it or about what's going to happen soon. I just hope this move is for the better of all or at least of the majority.

A lot of speculations have been roaming around in the SEO and link building industry about the big advantage in the use of social bookmarking websites. This is in helping sites rank higher in the SERPs faster and accurately.

True, I have even experienced it myself but everything has changed because Google finally found out how to filter sites that exploit the use of these social bookmarking sites to their own advantage. This is something new from my personal experience and I admit this is a great new learning from me.

Although I cannot enclose more details to confirm this claim, I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of you out there who have experienced it also. If you are wondering why, then, this post is just the answer to your questions.

The Microsites Linking Explained by SEOmoz

As we all know, microsites have always played a very important role for search engine marketers as well as SEOs out there who are up to promoting client and personal sites for ranking them. Although there are other ways possible in passing our link juice to a webpage or website, somehow, when I watched that video that Rand Fishkin showed in his Friday Whiteboards, I immediately rushed to a few sites and thought it would be worth taking a look at.

From the very simple explanation, Rand Fishkin of SEOmoz is right. It really is very easy to understand and it never came to my mind that this can be something interesting to discuss myself because I have always believed that using microsites to link build and promote a business site or a major website is the right thing to do.

It is really very simple, because since when have microsite been better than actually getting linked in diverse anchor texts and structure from different domains? In the example in the video, he mentioned specifically those who are taking time to develop somewhat a sub blog to a major business website.

There what the SEO or the search engine marketer does is to put hos/her articles or those contents that are a little more unneeded in a blog (ex. samcasuncad.com [major site] and samcasuncad.com/blog[subdomain site]) and then what you do is you try to pass out the link juice from that blog which we all know usually get linked to from other sites and usually used for link bait and then give a link to the major site we have using the anchor text that we want to promote our major site.

According to Rand Fishkin, it is actually wrong to perceive that you are passing the same link juice and trust that your sub domain/blog to your major business site that way but instead, you are passing a link that is not in any way part of the sites that are linking to your blog and making it strongly trusted by the search engines.

What's best to do to counter this misbelief is to build direct links to your major website business instead of trying to channel those links using a sub domain like a blog or something from a single domain. Remember that links coming from different domains would rather be better than link from the same domain which in this case happens to be your subdomain blog.

Busby SEO Test l Unfinished Business

The opening of New Year gave the "Busby SEO Test" participants a new vision, more or less to make a few more tweaks to the link building and SEO of their respective entries. There has been a reported major security problem in Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser. This major breach is said to be a major problem because it could lead to an attempt to steal your personal identity as well as passwords which we all know could mean big problem both financially and web-based.

Digg Launches Related Posts Beta

I guess Digg finally got over the spamming here and there from all corners of the internet marketing industry. They just launched their Digg Related Posts in Beta testing. This is the newest modification since I cannot remember anymore from Digg admin and I like this one as it somehow minimizes the opportunities for spammers (like me) and other out there.

This move to put some changes will lessen the chances that only the spam links submitted will get the say and outbound clicks. Maybe Jay Adelson woke up and said hey, we ought to use something out of those who gets visits and leads from using Digg in return.

Actually, it's not really them who benefits from it but all users as well because the related posts will take the users to more relevant content which is a good indication that there will be more chances to see other posts and diggs by other people.

This also means that those who do not usually have the time to search for other relevant posts, not thinking that it is possible, will no longer have to click here and click there just to find other information that they may be interested in. 3 Days of Agony as a SEO and Link Builder

I have been a link builder and a SEO for years now and I can't imagine myself being in this situation so many times but so far, this is the most challenging for me. We all want the glory at the end of the day but the day seem so endless for all of us. The day seem not enough for our entry sites and our link building and SEO efforts.

While some have struggled only to raise a few index fingers in their respective keyboards, we, the new optimizers of the new generation (I must count myself as one of them) struggle to seek more and more knowledge as if some kind of a vampire really hungry for blood and thirsty for more as we taste defeat and glory all in sudden repulsive reaction by Google. There are those who prayed to Google to put them up the pedestal and then gave up on what they used to believe, now they have directed the power they have earned to an enemy's (competition is the right word for it) entry website.

While others have struggled to cheat in their most hidden ways and hide them for anyone to see, I am here in my desktop trying still to decipher what in the mind of Google when it doesn't respond to my call. This is my world, the world that I have learned to love and live with all my days everyday here at home and this is where I will be until the end of time. I love SEO more than just my friends and I admit it, sometimes more than my own family. It is sometimes the reason I don't take a bath just to finish things I have to do. I don't regret it instead, when I start to think about it, it makes me smile.

I couldn't imagine myself of a lesser man because of SEO and my life will be full of challenges that rise my blood to the head making me blush sometimes. Sphinn Bar Argument: Why I Don't Approve Questioning Quality Over Responsibility

There is an ongoing argument within the Sphinn (allow me to say veterans and regulars) about raising the Sphinn bar. For those who do not know about it yet. Allow me to enlighten you with the sort of voting plexo going on.

"Sugarrae", a.k.a. Rae Hoffman (according to his/her profile I took a t peek at Sphinn) of MFE Interactive raised an argument regarding raising the bar in Sphinn, that is raising the number of Sphinns that a post needs to be able to land in the home page as a hot post. From the current setting, the suggestion by "sugarrae" is to raise it up to 30.

The suggestion highlighted such reasons why this suggestion. One of which was to prevent unworthy posts from getting in the hot pot in the home page of Sphinn. This way, sugarrae said, Sphinn would have a home page full of quality posts.

Now, my question is, who is who to say that a post is quality or not when honestly speaking, yes, I find a lot of greatly great posts from Sphinn but not all of those in the home page where there is the hot seat is really hot? I guess that leaves us with the same concern.

Here are a few of the arguments raised regarding the suggestion to raise the bar that I would like to have highlighted here which for me are a few good points aside from mine.

Skitzzo raised that there wouldn't be any difference at all because people who can find friends to raise their post to 23 and make it hot will probably find another 7 to help them push an entry to the home page.

"GOOD point here" - for me

Another TonyAdam raised, that he is ok with the 30 mark but his doubt is would that even help the quality of the home page any better?

"Even a better point" - for me

Here's the interesting reply from the SearchEngineLand, Danny Sullivan - "Might be time to take it up, though I'd suggest we go to maybe 25 or 27 first. Incremental to me is often better than dramatic. Also, with it being the holidays, activity tends to go down. We could also kick the weight of comments up. Comments do contribute as to whether something goes hot."

"Now wouldn't that be a better option for you?" I like that.

"My own opinion is that, I think it would be better to leave it at what it is today because I believe that this is just a matter of having friends in the Sphinn arena and to tell you all frankly, including the regulars in Sphinn, I don't care whatever quality the Sphinn home page has as long as I know for myself what is quality for me and only my own purpose. Everybody have their own purpose why they go to Sphinn and what could be a quality post to this person may not be any worthy to another so who's who to say what's quality post and what's not?" Don't tell me that because you have a lot of Sphinns in your post that we can equate that to quality....I strongly disagree on that if that is your point in raising the bar.

People at Sphinn know how to choose what's quality and what's not. We all do... so what's the point in raising the bar? Even if posts get hot and get to sit in the home page for as long as Sphinn is live, the Sphinners decide themselves what's hot and what's not regardless of whether they are friends or not. This is called responsibility.

If I am a Sphinn user or a Sphinn visitor, there is a big difference to a post with a 100 Sphinns that I cannot use and learn from and that which has 5 Sphinns that will do me good and where I can learn from based only on my own judgement. We all have different levels of interpretation, as well as needs when we speak of posts in Sphinn and there is nothing wrong with networking within Sphinn community either because that is the very essence of joining there as a search engine marketing community of adult, mature, responsible people who know how to know what works for them and what does not.

Let them all Sphinn as friends and let the others choose what they know will give them something useful in the end. No point in raising Sphinns needed to be on the home page because even if you all Sphinn up as friends a single post that I or others don't want or need, to me or the others, it would still be rendered useless. Don't worry, I am a responsible Sphinner and I am not one of those who Sphinn because this or that person is my friend or fee is some authority in the web. I don't even like all of the regular's posts there and best of all, I am responsible.

Did you notice that YouTube is already making their videos available in wide screen? Good Content Equals Traffic Increase

Sometimes you do not really have to do so much SEO with a website you are promoting today. All it took me is to make really good compelling content and the traffic is steady in this SEO blog of mine. Matt commented that it's not really that ranking is dead but more of SEOs today treat rankings not as important as it used to be. SEOs become smarter in the process all these years that they have learned to realize "they are also marketers". When we talk of the search engines and people like us, I bet you there can and should never be anyone who dare say that he or she is an experienced web designer nor an experienced SEO. How did I arrive at this conclusion? Well, simply because if you claim that you are an experienced web designer, you have to be some kind of an authority with the word experienced under your name as a web designer. The same thing goes for an experienced SEO.

Experience just to make some people think is a word that can be defined but the content of which is immeasurable. Experience is here because we have to continually learn from everyday life as a person, a SEO or a web designer or even as a whole group. Since I brought out the meaning of "experienced" here, I would like to imply that anyone who claims his name under the description of experienced is all a false claimant because we all know that you can never gain all the experience that you need in this world to claim that you are experienced and it applies both to a web designer and a SEO.

If we cannot measure our experience ourselves, then how come there are a few people in the internet industry who claim that they are experienced? Can they really say that they have everything in their profile with respect to experience to claim that they are experienced? The guts! Even Matt Cutts or Sergei Brin didn't claim themselves as Experienced (with "d") Google engineer and Google founder respectively because they know that they cannot have the word "experienced" before their name in any circumstance.

I myself is saying that this blog is an intelligent blog where an intelligent SEO blogging is but never did I claim that I am an intelligent SEO or an intelligent SEO blogger. There is a big difference between being the experienced person yourself with being in places and groups and websites that have people who have the experience in dealing with their specialties but never in a million years time would they dare to claim they are experienced web designer or experienced SEO and so on. This is what we call as either a false claim or a wrong tagging of oneself. It can never be called as an achievement to call yourself as someone experienced when you do not even have all the experience in the world to claim yourself being experienced. If you get my point, then that's it.

I do not mean to offend anyone here but instead, would just like to clarify a few things in my mind and prove to myself that I am still lucky and humble enough to claim that this blog is an intelligent blog where intelligent SEO blogging and news is. I didn't claim in any way that I am an intelligent SEO myself because I know that there are a lot of intelligent SEOs out there than I am much like if you are claiming to be an experienced web designer or experienced SEO that I happen to read in so manny places in the internet today. You can claim that your company has the best and experienced web designers and best and experienced SEOs but please do not in any other way claim that you are an experienced authority in this and that because experience is something that cannot be measured nor appended under a person's name.

AOL Journal is Buried - Blogger Provides Migration Tool

AOL Journal has finally decided to close out and the biggest question remained unanswered until Blogger, the Google- bought blogging platform where blogs are called blogspot has released a migration tool to help AOL Journalists to continue their old ways to share blogging ideas and personal rants.

Google, a few days ago or weeks maybe just changed their interface in the Google Analytics. I am glad and I personally think that it's about time to make that change and I'm glad they did it for the better.

The Digg Graveyard - See if You're Listed and Damned to be Dead Forever on Halloween

Today, while looking our for some fresh information that I can use to post here at the intelligent blog, I came across with something interesting and I thought why not post it here so I can share it with others who don't know about it yet. It's about the Digg Graveyard which was posted at Sphinn. It is a place that never came to my mind ever existed after all the use and abuse I have made myself using Digg just to arrive at a dependable and reliable result to my numerous little experiments. (sorry for that)

It was actually an accidental find while I was looking at my profile, a long lost one trying to seek some old forums and digging up old manuscripts in the web that I used to use when I was literally new to link building. I wanted to use them all again so I went with my quest until I found the Digg Graveyard and the links at social blade, one by one led me to Sphinn, where some of the best posts I got here at the intelligent blog came from. I also took the liberty to post here the picture which I personally cropped just to fit in my blog and for others to see the look of the graveyard firsthand (maybe) here in my SEO blog. The graveyard actually featured top users, that is, the banned ones and they lie there dammed forever getting banned from Digg index. At first I thought it was some kind of joke until I was lead to the post about it on Sphinn which we all know is one of the most reliable resource for any SEO out there looking for some fresh and not so fresh information that really rocks and best of all, helps us go over day after day.

Up to the Linux Usermod Delete Command

I have a friend who is in to and Linux Usermod Delete Command and I wanted to help him with it but the problem is that I really don't know so much about those as I am more of a content architect than programs. They don't attract me at all plus the fact that I feel it is going to take so much of my time if I try to study this Linux Usermod Delete Command thing today.

Well, although this is how I personally feel about programming and such jobs and techie stuff, I must admit those guys who are in to this kind of industry are truly one of the best there is because they make and give life to the party. They are not clowns nor are they the comedians who make us laugh all the time but instead they are one of the guys that we all ought to respect.

This is because to be in this industry, particularly if you are also up to Linux Usermod Delete Command thingy, you really have to be good at it and today, very few people take time to learn about these kinds of techie stuff.

Timing is Everything in SEO - I Won 2nd Prize in the Captivating Capiz Contest

I just wanted to share a small yet not so secret secret about my winning in the Captivating Capiz contest that ended last Oct. 26. Everybody who is in the top 10 position that day knows that the last 2 hours, my entry is in the # 5 slot where nobody thought that I can make it to the 2 spot on the last few minutes of the contest.

Actually, there really is no secret at all in getting on the # 2 spot all of a sudden. Every SEO contest does not really win an SEO (the person). Every contest wins a link builder and the perfect timing of doing link building for an entry. I knew the moment I saw the results of the contest when Google moved and showed an algorithm every 15 minutes and that indicated that whatever I am working on with my entry, it is somehow making Google respond in the last few breath-taking minutes of the contest. It was just plain old link building till the last drop of sweat that won me and my entry that #2 spot so I know what works is just "perseverance".

This contest made me realize that there is nobody better than those who strive hard to get links for a contest entry even if it is the last few minutes of the contest. I know it because it has won me one that day and I am glad about it. A 5 minute interval is what I did with my entry until the last quarter of the contest and I am glad that I succeeded with it. Knowing how things work for you to let Google know is something irreplaceable as an SEO. Today, I would not want to call myself an SEO but rather a link builder. I have seen what works and I am glad about that especially when I did a perfect interval on link building in the last 2 days.

I used the internet cafe in the last day of my link building which is also the last day, the very day of the contest and I would like to thank James Baldonaza for a link love that he gave my entry using a short blog review in the last few weeks. I would also like to thank those who joined for making the constest really interesting until the last few minutes that I spent in the internet cafe away from home in the comfort of my own PC. Anyway, this is the nth time that I joined a contest but is the first ever one that I did not declare that I am on the process of experimenting anymore. I seriously treated this contest as an official contest where I am going to use all the I have learned from the previous ones including "s*******". Opps I did it just for additional knowledge and nothing else.

The Capiz SEO Contest is Over Today

The "captivating Capiz" SEO contest is finally over today, there is only 1 hour and a half left to be exact and I know that my entry will make it to a notch higher if there is enough time. I've seen the algorithm twist and tweak a little bit bringing my captivating Capiz entry to the #2 slot of the results.

If only this last few ditch effort will help it become on its stable positions at the second half of the hour, then I will win the second place for this contest, leaving Eli a notch below. Just Bought My New LCD Monitor

I remember way back when I am literally new to blogging and I did not know anything about rules on content copying. I used to take some content here and some content there and presto, I already have a content of my own. This blog however is not part of that. Why I came on this topic is another issue and it is because, earlier this month, someone committed copying my content in another blog which happens to center on the captivating Capiz contest.

I didn't know at first that my content was copied until Wordpress sent me using my dashboard a very late notice on another webpage linking to my entry for the said captivating Capiz SEO contest. I wondered why it was late, maybe because I wasn't really able to update my installation from a 2.3 version of WP. Well, whatever it is it has nothing to do with the true issue which is why do people copy content from others?

There are a few I know of that makes a person or another party copy content from another webpage and let me show you how people find so many ways and reasons why the need to copy content from someone else and not provide any lead to the original writing.

First, a reason for this could be because they don't know or are not aware of the rules in content copying as well as content syndication. Another is because of competition which is aimed to topple the other in the results. An interesting reason however is because the original content is crafted to perfection that the copying party could not pass the temptation.

For whatever reason it is copying content is aimed only at one point which is to destroy the original content owner or the content itself. This may be regardless if the party copying the content knows or not about the rules or if the one who copied the content knows or not about SEO. Android Phone:Google's New Linux-Powered Baby

Today I saw the Google co-founder and president in technology Sergei Brin and this time Google is up to their newly developed Google Android Phone, a Linux-powered mobile phone and browser which people earlier called as the G-phone. This Google phone is in unison with a lot more features you could ever imagine in your mobile phone and browser. In fact, in order to come up with a concrete review of the said gadget, people from Google like Steve Horowitz had to literally experience the full functionality of the said gadget for six months. The only question however is if you are willing to buy a mobile phone that's attached to a less popular operating system which is Linux. Another important issue however is if Google could come up with the development of more applications that will fit with the Google Android because for now, there are only a few interesting and usability functions that I believe with the fast development of technology will easily and quickly be rendered obsolete in a month or a year's time.

If you don't know yet, Sergey Brin is a co-founder of what we came to know today as Google the biggest revenue sharing and search engine of the modern internet technology today. I read from the blog by Joe today that according to TechCruch, StumbleUpon is now for sale by e-Bay. Well what do you know? It really has been a very long time that I have been done and over with social media sites because I never even knew that StumbleUpon was bought by e-Bay a long time ago.

Now, after learning that it is for sale by e-Bay, I wonder how much will it be for the biggest e-commerce selling site today? I actually commented this on the Duck's Blog asking if maybe the big "G" has offered to take over it. I guess not after Digg which we all know is proven to have shared powers on Google indexing.

Just some claims, I have visited a lot of dofollow blogs today and I was really surprised to see why they all seem to get all the juice and getting high PR while those nofollow blogs don't. Is there really something that Google has been hiding from the SEO personalities out there who are looking to find the answers to their questions that happened to be the same as mine? Why do dofollow blogs have high PR and how do they really keep their blog's link juice that way?

What's the Secret with Dofollow and Nofollow Linking?

I have hears it about so many times that link juice can be passed if you have a dofollow on your links for a blog but what attracts me to question this is why would those dofollow blogs really get high PR while nofollow blogs don't? Could there be something we are mission here being applied by Google with respect to link rules and how they see dofollow links? I bet not. Then why would a dofollow blog really get to maintain its high PR when they all seem to pass their link juice like havoc on a train unlike those nofollow blogs who don't share link juice at all with their links.

This is my conclusion on my part but I would suggest though that you follow your instincts where it leads you. I have observed that most of the people who employ or use dofollow with their blog links do regularly update their sites/blogs which we all know has been proven to take in a lot of favor with respect to Google system of updating PR and giving blogs a high PR on the next update.

This is one opinion that I cannot really let pass on this issue. I have also observed that since people who own blogs that have dofollow on their links do tend to manage their blogs well in order to fight spam which might be the sole reason why Google really loves blogs that go for dofollow and so goes with the owners of these blogs. Google also seem to like them and do not make any move at all to penalize them with PR downgrade as much as they do not like blogs that spam their index. This seems to be the relationship that binds Google and Dofollow blogs that are well managed by their owners and get updated on a regular basis.

Link Dillution and How Google Sees and Penalizes Link Spamming

Although dillution of links is another issue when we talk of linking and having dofollow attribute with our links, it is also on my own observation that when you make a linking spree that targets phrases on the long tail, Google seems to like those links and gives you more chances of gaining a higher PR on the next update by basis of knowing that your links are naturally generated and not some paid links that we all know are usually on keywords and keywohrases that are either short or have no backbone. I admit it that I must be maintaining about 80 or a 100 blogs right now but most of them are either orphaned or let alone to rot in the web because I really have no time to write due to overload of work here at home. Al has been doing business since I don't know because I was not yet in to internet marketing then but he is a good friend of mine, in fact he is one my friends among friends that this Intelligent SEO Blog is linking to. I am not really knowledgeable much with all of the contest rules because I am sleeping that time but I would like to announce it here just to see what happens next.

I believe that what the participants are doing right now is optimizing their static sites which is a primary rule in joining this PhP 275,000.00 SEO contest in the Philippines. 2 Years Back I Crafted Myself and My Destiny

Secrets never get revealed so you have to follow where your instincts lead you. As a SEO, I never believed in so many things until I met my old blog that used to discuss all about myself and my destiny. Now the question is answered. I am here in the world of SEO. I entered and followed the white rabbit and now I am able to answer all neo questions. That is why finally and there is no secret because I now know. I now know that I can be what I want to be with no hesitation and no doubt and most of all no job.

No job because I don't work for the greedy people who masks the world with their pretencious masquerade of luring people into their chair of nothingness. I have escaped and I have more on my face right now. More on everything from time to family to money to work (not just a job) to people and chances and opportunities. They all seem to pour and rain like cats and dogs. One by one it all comes back to me now. There is now no secret for me, just things that I didn't get introduced to.

There really is a lot out there and there is an abundance of everything and I have proven it so just because I personally saw it all coming one by one. I do not know why or how but because I know that they all will come and so they all came to me. Everything is now falling into pieces for me and for everything I ever wanted. I know that it's not too late. I can still cherish all of it here in this lifetime because I know that there is an abundance of it all not just yet introduced to me but I know and I really know that there is more.

Just the other day, someone, some blogger blogged about me. I took a look at the profile of the that blogger and Googled for the blog until I arrived at the picture below which says that Pwengbee, Piyoz and Shiela Mae Baes is where the scandalous, pretentious, judgmental blog post and wrong choice of blogging came. The three names are one and the same... Well, at least it seems but only because the image below tells and I do not want to make any conclusions and make the wrong impression. I want transparency here and I also want to be clear that I will not be entertaining any comments here so just to avoid making the issue bigger, no more no less.

I do not know how to describe this person, this blogger who seemingly claims to know so much ethics in blogging after this incident that she initiated. Just let me lead you to the blog, this scandalous, pretentious and judgmental blogger who picks on people and blogs about them of wrong impressions and claims. I want this blog post to be clear about some things so as to not read or sound bias to anyone, not even myself unlike the post that I read from this blogger.

Judging people is not a good choice for a blog post and answering questions using maybees just to hide the truth is not a crime but a self-centered effort to deny justice. Not helping the aggravated using those denials and maybees is just as worse as committing the crime itself. The rule of law as well as the rule of the above says it...and we all know it. This is fact and not some assumption.

How would you call a person who breaks a rule? Here are the exact words of that blogger: "Rules can be broken but I broke it in a good way". Since when can rules be broken and people can still be on the right side?
How would you call a blogger who denies facts at first using "maybe" as a word and then admits it later on?
How would you call a blogger who talks of being humble when in a post that this blogger makes, he/she mentions about people and judging them with words like "Yeah, I admit I have done such a crime but not that worse as you did (I hope)".
How would you call a blogger who makes his/her own images using people's names as if concluding or trying to make people believe on something that is not?
humility? Does this blogger really know the meaning of the word humility and being humble when he/she says that "Ever since, I blog about any issue that is bothering in my mind. I mention names, etc, whatever that’s in my mind"? Poor ethics...It all falls unto you.

So, tell me, are the words, judgmental, scandalous and pretentious not the perfect words for Sheilla May Baes blogger? Just asking and it's really up to you to judge the content, the blog and the comments of this person. You will find in the URL below

Leeching Enormous Bandwidth - "The Google Killer" Cuil is Funded at $ 33 Million Bucks

The words "Google Killer" I got from the ever popular techcrunch blog today and Don wrote on his article just the other day. I bet my fellow webmasters and SEOs here in the Philippines don't know anything yet about the said story of killing a site rendering you hopeless with an enormous upsurge of bandwidth eating by an indexing bot from the so-called Cuil.

Where this Cuil came from is still on an issue of debate by some of those who got hit by the said indexing bot that attempts to kill your site with the use of an enormous power of bringing in bot traffic that will eat your bandwidth and literally kill your site rendering like what those 404 can do or the "bandwidth exceeded" messages. Hence, this Cuil is called now as the "Google Killer". Restricting its index in your site might help a bit but does not assure you that you will get saved from its killing claws. For those of my fellow SEOs here in the Philippines, I would like to have something really early for you guys to do when this happens to your site. Don't just hypothesize, this is the answer and you should know what to do.

In case you don't know what best to do, there is a Forum Thread on The Admin Zone showcasing a tutorial on this issue of the "Killing Bandwidth" by Cuil. If you haven't met the killing bandwidth by Cuil, I bet it will just take a few more days to get there. The world has seen its power. Cuil's method of indexing according to some people who have experienced it were said to be of an amateur profile. Only random slaps were recorded by the site owners who got hit to arrive at this estimate of amateurish tendencies by the punisher, Cuil bot.

The only glory that we, the site owners however still got a hold on to is that the said killer bots still obey robots.txt. Cuil's operating manager, James Akers had an explanation to all that is happening and his reply can be found here. He said that the Twiceler bot, the bot that crawls sites is actually in a state of something still experimental and that they are willing to exclude any site an owner wishes to be excluded upon request to them.

There were also claims about Cuil bots by Akers that there are some bots pretending to be Cuil's but were not actually it and so to make sure about this issue, he told in his reply and explanation that consulting the IP address could resolve doubts if you have the killer bot or the impostor.

I came up with this sort of weird post because today, I saw something that most of us would not bend our heads to. There could be a pot of gold behind these bars and we never even notice or we intentionally neglect it because of that feeling as an SEO that there is only junk in those trackback comment spams. Think again.

blog review sites - Now since I would want to assume that all of us SEOs have our own blogs or at least have tried blogging, I assumed in the first part that we all know where to look for trackback comment spams. This time we are up to the blog review or the paid for blogging sites. Why in the hell would I assume that there are a lot of good niches out there inside the paid for blogging sites that offer blog review services?

This is simple, if you have at least tried to sign up with these get paid for blogging schemes you would surely know about it and I wouldn't even have to explain it here. I saw most of my niches so many times and got them from in there and I can tell you that this is it. This is also a perfect place to go looking for amazing high earners out there for you if you are an SEO who earns through affiliate marketing or if you are planning to add up to a client's target niche.

Why? simply because most of the time or let me rephrase it, all the time I've been there looking for some blog review offers and it came to my mind to try and look for click estimates to a keyword that advertisers are targeting. I was surprised to have seen a lot of advertisers that have amazing high end niches that you can really enter in to and I had them all listed in an excel spreadsheet just to be sure that I have a list. I was really surprised when I did try to use the Google Keyword estimator in those niches. Those certain niches that advertisers there entered in their request forms for the anchor text to use in the blog review really pays big time bonanza in terms of AdSense and other affiliate marketing skips.

Feeling Good Knowing Where to Get a Great Niche

I felt good that I now have a resource to go looking at every time I try to look for a topic to get in or a niche to enter in a competition against those who already are in for quite some time. DP Forum Threads Hacked!

I never thought that forums can be hacked,much more, Digital Point Forums, the most visited forum in the SEO community and webmaster industry all over the world. This is where the best and the new ones sometimes meet and match.

I guess, very few knows about this yet and I don't know when this happened. I saw it while browsing over at Digital Point Forums in the Google section. At first I thought that it was just someone who is having problems with their site getting hacked but to my surprise, I saw that only a few were able to visit the thread, one of them was me.

I tried to open the said thread not knowing what it might do to my PC. Anyway, I have a strong sense of urgency in the next move so I pushed the button and chala! DP WAS HACKED! I thought when hackers hack a site, they literally hack the site as a whole and this is the first time that I was able to see a site that got hacked in sections. Small Contest But an Avenue to Learn - Cebu SEO Contest

The Cebu SEO contest is just a small SEO contest but still you cannot count it off. It is an avenue where you can learn a lot from. I've learned a lot from it. This is just the perfect teacher for me and for all of us, the same reason why I did not neglect it. Google Saw all My Cebu SEO Contest Posts

Google indeed saw all my posts and eventually removed me from their index on the Cebu SEO Contest results. I never expected it to come today and I never thought Google will see my effort. It did destroy my experiment but I still have one more entry that I can use for the seo experiment using a seo contest such as the Cebu SEO Contest.

I know that it will come but I didn't expect it to be today. I expected it earlier because what I have is only an inner page and I haven't even optimized my home page. I haven't also looked in the deeper view of the results with the keyword Cebu SEO Contest yet but I will after this post just to see if Google had me indexed in my home page instead of the inner page which is my entry to the contest.

There's one more entry to use in the SEO experiment and I will be more careful with my cross linking effort to see this entry last a little longer in the top 10 of the results and to be able to use it further in my experiment. I want to learn more about cross linking and linking structure that gave way for Google to see my effort and to remove me from the index on the SEO contest keyphrase - Cebu SEO Contest. More to come...

I Won't Change the Plan - I'd Still Go for Inner Page SEO

Masterofthe here, I am still not changing my plans to optimize purely for the inner page of my blog although I have seen some strong entries with optimized domains and optimized contents and title tags. This is really getting very challenging. I expected that by Monday my entry will disappear from the results but with a little effort to do offpage SEO on it, me and my blog is lucky to be still in here.

I saw the algorithm just now, exactly 5:27 PM and i saw one blog made it to the second slot all of a sudden. This is a strong indication that this blog is optimized very well on the onpage. Even though this is the case, I will not change my original plan unless the search engines do. There is a big possibility that Google might see my optimized posts and lead it to the home page. I will not allow Google to take control over my efforts.

I will not stay loose but intact and still going to optimize for the inner page. Guys, this is your edge over me, I am a stubborn little masterofthe who would stick to his plans just to learn more. This is a great SEO contest and this is a great challenge as well for me. I have never enjoyed seeing Google's algorithm like this using an SEO experiment with the Cebu SEO Challenge Contest.

I am surely gonna love it as more and more it gets harder to rank on top with domains optimized and posts optimized as well as the title tags of my competing entries are also optimized. This is really going very good as expected. The harder it is for me, the better the results and more learning I am in to.

I have no time for hacking issues anymore, just plain old serious work for an hour a day to this entry will probably help it up and help me learn more on SEO contests such as the Cebu SEO Contest. Sabi nga ng isang KALBO... I LOVE IT!

Who's Hacking Who's SEO Contest Entry?

Today, as part of my experiment and learning with SEO and joining a contest, the Cebu SEO Contest and trying to see if an inner page can take that long in such a very competitive keyword in a SEO contest, my curiosity led me to an entry that is also ranking on the top 10 of the first page. This entry, to avoid any misconceptions is owned by perhaps the only female in the top 10 slots which includes mine.

The owner of the entry is bragging in the comments section of the contest organizer that her entry was hacked. Well, I may not be the authority with hacking and such stuff but by common sense, if indeed an entry is hacked, do you think your content would have been still available in there and your rankings not hurt by dropping all of a sudden? And who would hack a domain of such that you don't even own. If you guys out there don't know what the targets of hackers are, here's a quick look...

If your site is hacked in the first place, hackers replace the content of a site with either his/her a.k.a. or alias or his very own name and when you load your page, you will see a message that most likely would say that you are hacked! if this is still not clear, here's another, how much money do you think can the hacker as you claim get from your blog (which by the way is not even your own domain) It does not even have anything of revenue interest for a hacker.

Mind you, hackers don't waste their time trying to take what is not even owned by you in the first place. Another thing is, do you think your blog is worth the hacking for a hacker who spend literally thousands of dollars with his resources just to win over you? Do you think you deserve the HACK?

In another case, if you were being sabotaged because of this contest by other contestants, then my question is, why are you still up there? Get that? We, the other contestants in the Cebu SEo contest deserves an explanation of why you came over with such a thought. Did it ever occur to you that we are all here because we are just looking for a little exposure and a little time for making friends. And did it not ever occur to you that we are all here not just for the contest prize which I think if it would be I or others here wouldn't have joined.

We can all actually just buy our own domains to get one but what we are all after here is the experience so who are you to tell us and brag about your contest entry being hacked? Be careful of your words or you might not find friends but instead enemies. PEACE!

Aiming for DMOZ - Can this SEO Directory be Bought?

So what's your best SEO directory? There is BOTW or Best of the Web, there is Joe Ant, the Google Directory, Yahoo Directory and more. But there is still one among those best SEO directories out there that everyone is aiming for - DMOZ or the Open Project Directory. Soaring high with PR 8 and perhaps the only link directory in the world with a high regard by Google.

DMOZ is what everybody is looking for to have a listing all the time. It is everybody's need or shall we say want to be included in in their (DMOZ) listings. It is what every webmaster is dreaming of for clients as well as for personal sites. Even in the SEO jobs being offered for freelancers, DMOZ is one of the most wanted and most targeted (that is if you'll see the ads posted by advertisers).

Actually while rushing to one of the most prestigious freelancing centers in the internet, I saw some SEO advertisements aiming and willing to pay for an assurance that they will get his site listed in the DMOZ directory. So what's this all about? And believe me, there must be almost a hundred advertisements there looking for a guarantee for a DMOZ listing of their sites. Now what do you think that this mean?

Can a DMOZ directory listing be bought? Is there really a way to get there paying for a listing? I don't know anything about that personally but since I brought this issue here, I would like to make some implications on the possibilities. We all know that DMOZ is an open project directory where in their camp, they have people called editors that do the editing of all the submission made all over the SEO and business world.

Knowing about this condition, I cannot help but assume that there may be a few guys out there in their camp (DMOZ) who can be bought just to have a listing inside. Would this sooner or later dillute the DMOZ elite listing somehow if found to be true?

The question is, with this situation on hand, people and insiders editing the listings being submitted, is it really possible to get a bought listing? If not, why do I see closed projects in the freelancing center that I used to go to? I just used to go there and see who's who and what the good old SEO guys are up to and I see a lot of posted advertiser requests for a DMOZ listing.

Almost everyday I see one or a couple more. Could this mean that a DMOZ listing be really bought? Knowing that DMOZ requests in the freelancing site get paid and projects closed could be just what the missing link is. Just asking so you know what's in and what's not, what's hip and what's hot.

The Culprit Came When I Conquered The SEO Experiment

You, the culprit to one of my SEO posts came. Just in time for me conquering the top spot. It really is fun to test my blog and myself. Not using so much bookmarkings like those of the others who bloated out their tummies with a huge downpour of social bookmarkings. Sorry if you are one of those who did it. I didn't mean any harm. We all learn from mistakes as well as I did in the past. I learned a lot from my past SEO experiences and I want to learn more as if I were a hungry little kid who just came from the playground.

For now I will stick just to me resources in doing away with my competition. I want to be there not because I submitted a lot of bookmarkings to my useless funny posts. One or two for me will do. I just love to see how it gets to be so effective not acting like that. I want to prove something not to others but to myself. Prove that I can learn because I do not understand up to now some things. I am just like anybody here doing all they can to see what works and what doesn't.

What about you? Yes you!!! Did you make that same strategy to get to the top? So, let us assess. Did you get to the top at all doing that? If NO is your answer, then stop it. Do other things that proves to be pushing you up there....and the culprit came when I conquered the Cebu SEO contest while having fun. Fun fun fun.

Those who think this is easy and shows up comments as if they know everything in SEO, as if they are the authority. Nobody here can be an authority unless you are Google or MSN or Yahoo. Not me, not you nor anyone in here or in there. We all learn somewhere along the way because we don't know everything. This is not for the money or for the free domain. This is for me to learn more. I don't want to be like others who feel they have everything and so they don't want to learn more. If you have it, flaunt it!

All this is just about fun, trying hard to stay there on top with just an inner page and not the home page is nothing new but with this contest, it's probably the first one. Nobody ever tried to do it for some reason (it is hard to rank in a contest using only the inner page) and that is why I want to see if this will go straight till September.

Sorry for those who might be affected by this post, I'm just having a good time learning and testing. I do not want to be like those who think they have what it takes. I want to learn more each day on how it works for the search engines. I am no good until I prove it! I want to know more, otherwise, I wouldn't be here at all.

No one has any right to tell me this is easy because they haven't even tried. Now if you think this is easy as you talk, then try and take it. Take the challenge and see if you have what it takes to prove you are the best there is. Take the Cebu SEO Challenge! Go prove that in an SEO contest, you can rank an inner page until the end. THIS IS MY EXPERIMENT.

Raising Eyebrows Over the New Propeller Design

Everybody has talked about the new propeller design and what they had in mind is the same as what I have. The new design really sti**. It doesn't even have the user-friendly social media site design that it used to have.

Although this news is a bit late and the comments are too late, I'd like to be the first one to discuss about it here. Where no one dares, I discuss and maybe that is why I want this blog to be labeled as the Intelligent Blog in SEO Philippines block.

Say what you might but I know and have seen a lot of SEO blogs out there but nothing can compare to this blog of mine. I know what I do and I put my heart on it all the time. That's what makes it very interesting to read my posts. This is where you will find interesting discussion as well as first hand information about some of the latest in the world SEO community.

SMX China Happens, Philippines When?

While Browsing over at Sphinn, I got a peek at a small sort of an ad where I saw it contained the schedule of SMX - Search Engine Marketing Expo. The schedule is on China this time which will happen in September 23 - 24 i Nanjing China. I felt a little bit of jealousy here. A though came to my mind at once, a question, when will the Philippines ever be part of the SMX tour?

SMX China is on and the Philippines is still waiting. I guess it will take a very long time before that happens. But I don't loose hope that someday, the SEO world will notice the Philippines on this.

SMX East will be in New York City on October 6 - 8.

Braggadoccio, Sphinn and How I Get Visits From Prominent SEO People

Early last year, this very same blog, then a blogspot and now still a blogspot had its value in the internet. It may be a small pact of posts with nonsense words and of no interest blog but come to think that it gets visited by some of the most prominent bloggers and SEO people known to the industry. The like of Rusty Brick, gold old Barry Schwarts, Boing Boing and now just today after an interesting post in Sphinn, SEO by The Sea's William Slawski, a.k.a. Braggadoccio. How I did it is another important learning both for me and for other SEOs out there. Sign up for an account at Sphinn and don't blow your account by just putting in there nonsense posts. Just the best posts that you think is enough for you to get in. Believe me, I've done the same mistake before and today, I enjoy lots of the latest and best content there is in the internet because of Sphinn.

First, allow me to boast who just visited me today, William Slawski, a.k.a. Braggadoccio. For those who don't know where Slawski writes, it's in SEO by the Sea. I'm glad, these people paid a visit in my humble blog every once in while and I owe it to Sphinn where these guys get together all the time. It's a good resource, the best of all in fact they manage the site very well taking out literally thousands even millions of junk bookmarkings. Who knows? I don't!

The important learning here is that if you have those kinds of people visiting your blog every once in while, that you must have what it takes to be visited. Ok, I'll tell you what I had at Sphinn just the other night that got these rare people rushing to my blog today. It's simple, a story I had encountered somewhere in my life as an SEO and relate it a previous life I had as an amusement technician. Yes, I am an amusement technician in my previous profession, about 5 months ago but now I am glad that I entered full time into SEO and link building arena.

I aim to be the best link builder equipped not with the millions of resources in link building but with just the perfect methods and a few resources. That which the search engines won't fail to give favor over competitors. I love the art of SEO and the art of link building because I believe that they go together.

Today I learned so much about doing your best and by doing just that, you get something in return, something that you will not forget. A visit from prestigious people like the people I have mentioned above is surely something rare and it helps boost my career as an SEO. I may not have conversed with these people today but at least, I know that it pays, it really pays to be an SEO who can give the world great compelling content. I know it but I didn't really realize until today.

Sphinn Junks Cebu SEO Contest Bookmarkings

You must realize that you cannot afford to loose your membership only by careless submission of content. I say careless because of the obvious point that those two I can see from the Cebu SEO contest results got badly booted out. This is again a call to some of you who manage to make submissions because this way, you might compromise us being labeled as spammers and we all do not want that.

I get most of my valuable content from Sphinn and if you are not aware of it and that there is a pot of gold in there and I don't want you guys to have your accounts banned, so I decided to make this post even though it is very hard for me to make my point.

In a Matter of SEO Hours, Minutes and Seconds

Not even a day. Why in a matter of hours, minutes and seconds? This must have something to do with the Cebu SEO Contest that I just saw today. It took my curiosity and I felt urged to try if this blog still has its charisma with Google. Indeed, Google gave me the top position all in a day's work. I didn't intend to but I mean it.

I really want to get to the top but not today. It was supposed to be by Monday. Now I will face the problem of having that post maintained without considering my time frame. Anyway, it will do for now. I am still waiting for the home page to come out and while waiting for that occurrence which I doubt will come, I have to update this blog and let you all see my posts for the SEO contest.

A friend, James "B" (not the rapper) was supposed to be here but a sad ending to his entry and his chance to learn more that ended in the thrash because of....never mind. Sorry for those who are already there, I am just having a good time testing my new blog's onpage. This is the first time so I guess I am on track learning more. I enjoyed studying the new SEO Book (not Aaron Wall's) this one's better at least a 100 times more. This is the latest that I have and I really learned a lot from this SEO book for just 2 sleepless nights of reading and true friend's guidance.

Thanks to a friend in the U.S. (a real friend) and now a very good friend. Testing those learnings in my blogs is another issue. I won't fail my clients from the Middle East and I will lots of link love this year. We are also going to win a contest, but not the Cebu SEO Contest but against our competitors.

There is no Blissful Blogging for an SEO

There is no blissful blogging for an SEO, just techie blogging. But because we are all SEOs, we don't make it hard for us in the first place to understand what we do. We do it because we want to do it for the sake of taking things in our own hands.

We SEOs have the habit taking things not just in our own hands but in the name of Google Keyword Tool and the Google Analytics as well as the Google Traffic estimator. Why? It's so simple, we want to make sure we end up on top over what we know we want to achieve.

We are all addicted not to love but with Google. Here we pronounce it Gugel. Not Gu-gel, as in the gel we put in our hair but Gu-gel as in the gel of my life or gels just wanna have fun. Have fun in the Cebu SEO contest ya'll.

When SEOs Fall, They Fall Hard - An SEO Worker's Story

It has been a rule of thumb for many webmasters and SEO people to be careful of what they get in to. While I've had my mistakes, trying to give and ask for nothing but partnership the kind of partnership that was supposed to last a lifetime, I fell hard. I fell hard because I didn't see it coming. I though somewhere along the way, once, that my principle that business is business is always good and I proved myself right after all.

Friends are friends and we can always be friends with our friends, but when business come, friendship breaks. Why? I really couldn't answer myself until it came a point where I am the one. Business partnership proved that when business is at stake, we should first forget that our partners are our friends. WE don't have to compromise our friendship and we must be clear from the start.

I have always valued friendship until a friend, a co-worker in the amusement stole my ideas, my project, me and my future to be given the recognition on that project. I was no SEO that time, I am just me, the amusement worker who taught a friend I thought was all the way a friend but a fox. I didn't pity myself, I stood up! I know where I stand and I know my place. I didn't argue, I took the slap but he is still my friend because we are friends.

I understand that there are a few people, when you start to feed them up not with food but knowledge and power only you once had, they change. They change from becoming a friend into competition. Still I did not regret sharing what I had... Until the slap came. A partnership, a business partnership with business we mean 50/50 right? And it was the agreement until the agreement sounded different. You become the employee that partner dictates what to do or work out today and the next day.

Indeed I am not an SEO yet that day but I understood and still gave but when I felt this partner want's top eat me alive, that's when I started shouting...ENOUGH!!! ENOUGH!!! I am a human with dignity not just in friendship but also in partnership and with my words. I value what I say. I make mistakes but I will make it up because I know.

No I am not an SEO I am just your worker and you can dictate me anything you want even if costs me deprivation to have that chance to learn, to interact as a person or an SEO. I will not be denied this time. I am an SEO and you are my friend and my partner but you can't make me do what you want with me I still have my own life don't I? Well, there are a few people who feel they have the world in their hands but no. you might feel that way but you won't have me.
